Enigma Bytes was established in 2023 to do something the IT industry keeps making complicated: answer the phone, explain the problem in plain language, and fix it.

Ask any business owner about their IT supplier and you will hear a version of the same story – the ticket that went unanswered, the portal nobody could log into, the chatbot that offered to reset a password when the server was down.
Enigma Bytes was set up to be the opposite of that. We are a Paarl-based IT company working with small and medium businesses across the surrounding areas, and the thing we are most deliberate about is being easy to get hold of. There are no bots between you and us. You call, a person answers, and that person can help.
Beyond that, the aim is to be the only IT supplier you need. We handle support and consulting, supply hardware and software, design and maintain networks, install fibre and wireless connectivity, manage antivirus and security, host domains and websites, and install CCTV. When all of it sits with one supplier, there is nobody left to blame – which tends to concentrate the mind.

The single most common complaint about IT suppliers is that you cannot reach them. We built the business around not being that.

You should understand what we are recommending and why. If an explanation only makes sense to another IT person, it is a bad explanation.
